Well, Singapore is still.. Singapore. Green trees, fresh air, clean roads and the same old scene of rushy people. No more complaining about how I am in NUS. No more, seriously. I should be proud. I am studying in NUS.
Well, this week is pretty free since it's orientation week and I am not in it. There are actually a few reasons:
1. It's 50SGD for the thing. And the meals they will be giving are most prolly 2.50SGD per meal (economy rice). Please, Business Faculty caters buffet for their students!
2. My friends are not going as well since they registered a tad bit too late.
3. I'm tired and sick of Amazing Race. Running here and there. Rushing to this station and that station. Why? If the main intent is to introduce Singapore and to make friends, why this game? Plus, I heard that one of the games include blind-folding a guy and a girl. Then, they have to sit down and talk to each other for 1 hour. Seriously, nothing better to do ar?
4. Orientations are supposed to be free. If not, they should be cheaper? Not everyone is well to do. I can actually buy 2 textbooks for 50SGD.
5. I need to have a sleeping bag and sleep outside or in the classrooms.
I have my own freaking room. And it's 11SGD per night. Why am I paying but not sleeping on my own bed? Plus, my room's pretty nice, for me. Lots of privacy, well except for the window section. When the lights are on at night, you can see directly into another person's room.
Anyways, went out with Shameem yesterday. The others couldn't make it. Will be meeting them again this Friday for rag day + touring around campus. (:
Bought myself a pair of flats and some ear rings. *shhh* I'm supposed to be saving, not spending excessively.
Oh well, once bought, no refunds!
Hehehehehehehhehehehehehehe.
