Happy ever after?

I truly believe that marriages are wonderful events. Believe it or not, every single fairy tale ends like this...

And they live happily.. ever after.
The end.

What's there not to celebrate? It's a promise, a solemn vow made between two souls who swear to live with each other for the rest of their lives and to compromise every thing.. even if.. the other person farts right into his face.

And so my family and I attended my cousin's wedding just a few days ago for 3 days straight. Not really surprising since it is my father's brother's son's wedding.

The first day, which is actually known as the Lau Tiah Meh in Hokkien or better known as the Fake Bachelors' Night.

Before we left for my cousin's house, all of us did facial masks just to look better..

Well, everyone except my mama! She just sat there and laughed at our ghastly face!
